Weld Purge Monitor Range Includes the PurgEye ® 100

Leading the way in Weld Purging Technology, the PurgEye® 100 Weld Purge Monitor has highly advanced its predecessor, the Mark V MKV Argweld® Monitor.

With over 40 years in the Weld Purging Industry and with scientific knowledge and research, our development of the PurgEye® 100 Weld Purge Monitor has become the World’s Leading low cost, Weld Purging Oxygen Monitor, measuring from atmospheric level of 20.94%, accurately down to 100 ppm. The Weld Purge Monitor is perfect for welding stainless steels.

It is vital when welding metals such as stainless steel, that the oxygen level is purged to a minimum of 100 ppm in order to achieve oxide-free, golden welds, with no loss of corrosion resistant properties. High quality welds are essential in industries such as the food and beverage industry, the dairy industry, pharmaceutical industry and the paper and pulp industry, to name just a few!

The PurgEye® 100 portable purge monitor is IP65 Rated as dust tight and protected against water projected from a nozzle. The Gas Analyzer is manufactured with leak-tight push buttons, auto calibration, vacuum-sealed leak-tight probe assembly, wrist/neck strap and tripod mount.

Now there is no need for welders to guess at the oxygen level inside tubes and pipes. The low cost hand held purge monitor will provide accurate readings time and time again, saving both time and money in argon gas.

The Weld Purge Monitor ® was invented by HFT® in the 1970’s and with over 40 years of innovation, design and manufacturing experience, the company now has a Family of PurgEye® Weld Purge Monitors® to measure oxygen levels from atmospheric content (20.94%) down to 1 ppm (accurate to 10 ppm).

Ron Sewell, Chairman for HFT® said: “All of Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT®’s Weld Purge Monitors® and Inflatable Tube, Pipe and Pipeline Weld Purging Systems are manufactured in the UK. We do not sacrifice on quality. We guarantee to help you achieve zero colour welds, time and time again.”
