Burry Port’s Fundraiser

Burry Port’s fundraiser last week was a really great and successful evening.

HFT® had a large table at the event and hosted a number of friends and guests.

A great night was had by the HFT® group at this function which was called the Burry Port Rugby Football Club ‘Worthington Wednesday’ supper.

Dr Rick O’Shea – BBC Television programme “Scrum Five” Presenter did an excellent job of comparing the event.

A question and answer session was held with Kingsley Jones (former Wales Captain and current Forwards Coach of the Newport Gwent Dragons and Russian National Coach) and Ryan Jones (two time British Lion, former Wales Captain and current Welsh & Ospreys Player).  We were in good company!

It was a no holds barred session, we could ask anything as long as the same rules applied as on rugby tour: what goes on in the room tonight, stays in the room.  We found out some interesting stuff but sorry we can’t share……!
In the room we were honoured to have the oldest Welsh International Player who is now 89, Mr Peter Rees.

Embarrassingly HFT® cleaned up in the raffle with Angela Major winning first prize of two tickets to see Wales v New Zealand at the Millennium Stadium in November.  Luke Keane won a bottle of wine (hic) and Georgia Gascoyne won a Worthingtons Rugby Top which partner Tim promptly claimed.

Good night had by all.  Well done BPRFC. Another very enjoyable event organised extremely professionally, thank you.
